A serial ending generally paves way for a new one, but not always!

Sometimes, it also makes way for changes in the schedule of the existing shows. Following suit, SAB TV will see few programming changes in the coming days. As readers would know, Khatmal-E-Ishq, is set to bid adieu TV screens tomorrow (31 March). And Dil Deke Dekho will take up its slot at 10 pm from next week (3 April).

Dil Deke Dekho currently airs at the 10:30 pm slot. When we contacted Abhishek Bajaj, who plays the lead in Dil Deke Dekho, he said, “I feel that it’s a great step taken by the channel. Our show is a family drama and most people sleep early in our country. Now, I feel more people will be able to watch our serial."

Colors’ Shani

Colors’ mythological drama Karmphal Data Shani (Swastik Prdocutions) which is unfolding its major track revolving around Samundra Manthan is set to welcome a new entry.

In the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness how the battle for the Amrit will continue between Surya (Salil Ankola), Indra (Kunal Bakshi) and Shani (Kartikey Malviya). A new entry will also bring a major change in the ongoing track.

Our source informs us, “Actress Patrali Chattopadhyay (currently seen on &TV’s Queens Hain Hum) will be entering the show as Mohini. She will be Vishnu’s roop. Her character is going to be a cameo but she will have a major part to play in the Amrit Manthan episode.”

We tried reaching out to Patrali but she remained unavailable for comments. Stay tuned for more updates.

The ongoing episodes of the show is focusing on the story of Samundra Manthan where lord Shani (Kartikey Malviya) is going to get Amrit from the depth of the ocean which is going to be a challenging task for him.

The ongoing track is welcoming new entries on the show. We have already reported about Veebha Anand playing the role of Mahalaxmi for this particular event on the daily series and now we hear
that another entry is set to happen soon.

Actress Shweta Vyas has been roped in to play the role of Goddess Laxmi.

We have already reported that the upcoming episodes of the popular mythological drama will depict the tale of Samundra Manthan.

Now, we hear that actress Veebha Anand (last seen in Begusarai) has been roped in to play a major part in the upcoming track.

Our source informs us, “Veebha has been finalised to play the role of Mahakali in the Samundra Manthan track. Though a cameo, the upcoming track will focus completely on the powerful Mahakali.”

Sources confirm that Veebha has already shot for the episodes.

The actress though remained unavailable to comment.

Now, we hear that the show is set to witness a new entry very soon.

The upcoming episode of the popular mythological drama is going to witness the entry of Maharishi Durvasa, and actor Anwar Khan has been roped in to essay the character. Maharishi Durvasa is known for his immense power of penance and short temper.

His entry will bring about a power shift between the on-going battle between Devas and Asuras. After years of Yagna, Durvasa will get the power to create a weapon which would help an individual to attain supremacy over every entity.

After learning of Durvasa’s yagna, both the Devas and Asuras will try to convince him to come over to their respective side, in order to get the upper hand. While Shani will take Devas’ side, Rahu (Zohaib Siddiqui) will be taking Asura’s side.

Let’s see with whom will Durvasa side with, and what kind of twist he will bring in the forthcoming episodes.

Star Plus’ Dhhai Kilo Prem

Star Plus’ newly launched series Dhhai Kilo Prem (Balaji Telefilms and Sandiip Sikcand), is winning applauds from viewers for its unique concept.

The show is managing to keep viewers hooked with its interesting twist and turns.

We have recently reported about popular actor Angad Hasija entering the series to play a key role in the upcoming tracks.

In the recent episodes, we have seen that Piyush (Meherzan Mazda) is really fond of Sarika (Benazir Shaikh) but she is unaware of his feelings. On the other hand, Piyush thinks that Sarika has a soft corner for him.

Now, we hear that the misunderstandings will grow further which would result in a heartbreak moment for Piyush.

Our source informs us, “Sarika will be organizing a party for couples and she will invite Piyush for the same. An elated Piyush will assume that Sarika has invited him as she loves him but Sarika on the other hand, will have another surprise in store.

In the party, Sarika will shock Piyush by telling him that he can join the party with Deepika (Anjali Anand), as she will be attending the party with another guy (to be played by Angad Hasija).”

This would break Piyush's heart as he will be forced to dance with Deepika.

Will this incident bring Piyush and Deepika closer? Well, only time will tell.

Star Plus’ Dhhai Kilo Prem (Balaji Telefilms) has welcomed a new actor.
Of late, we saw Aly Goni and Rohan Gandotra playing important roles. Now, we have heard that Bidaai fame Angad Hasija is set to play a cameo in the above drama.

Yes, as per the plot, Angad will be Sarika’s (Benazir Shaikh) friend, who would enter the scene to make Piyush (Meherzan Mazda) jealous.

Angad confirmed the news and shared, “Yes, I have a guest appearance in Dhhai Kilo Prem. I have already started shooting for it.”
 

Producer Sandiip Sikcand thanked Angad on the Instagram for being part of his project.

Star Plus’ newly launched show Dhhai Kilo Prem (Balaji Telefilms) is set to welcome a new actor.
The romantic drama revolves around Piyush and Deepika played by Meherzan Mazda and Anjali Anand respectively.

The makers have roped in television actor Vikram Thakur, who has earlier been part of theatres, and DD shows.

When we contacted Vikram, he shared, “I am playing the character of Kishore, who is fun loving, caring and very protective towards Pankaj (Kiran Karmarkar) uncle, and his family. I happen to be good friends of Piyush and handle Pankaj uncle’s business. I have begun shooting and my entry will air in day or two. I am excited and looking forward to my journey with Dhhai Kilo Prem.”

The ardent followers of Colors’ popular daily Devanshi (Full House Media) have witnessed some high voltage drama in its ongoing episodes.

Recently, we have seen how Devanshi (Helly Shah) trapped Kusum Sundari (Karuna Pandey) with her brilliant plan.

Now, we hear that Kusum Sundari will decide to avenge Devanshi for her act but will she succeed? Read on to know what will happen next on the show –

Kusum Sundari will plan to humiliate Devanshi in front of the family members. She will join hand with a Tantrik baba to execute her plan but Devanshi will learn about it and manage to convince the Tantrik baba to be on her side.

Our source informs us, “Further, Devanshi will get Kusum Sundari hypnotized with the help of the Tantrik baba. Kusum Sundari, not in her senses will dance on the popular item song Hungama Ho Gaya, in front of her family members wearing a short dress, leaving everyone shocked.”

When we contacted Helly, she confirmed the development with us and commented, “It was a very nice sequence to shoot. It was hectic but we had lots of fun.”

It would be interesting to watch the duo plotting against each other, time and again, raising the drama quotient on the show.

Zee TV's 'Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma'

Shashi Kiran roped in for Zee TV's Amma

Actor Shashi Kiran last seen in Bhagonwaali and Sanjog Se Bani Sangini will make a return to TV with Zee TV's Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma, produced by Farhn P Zamma’s Salt Media LLP.

He will essay the role of the cruel and brutal uncle (mama) of Zeenat (Urvashi Sharma). The guy will bring her up from childhood and then when she will come of age, he will try to sell her for money.

When contacted Shashi Kiran told us "Yes I am doing the show. I play the antagonistic mama of Zeenat. It will be a very important cameo role."

Zee TV launches 'Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma'

Changing the tracks of its weekend programming starting 25^th June at 10:30 PM, Zee TV presents ‘Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma’. The 52 episodes finite series captures the journey of Zeenat, a mother of two, deserted by her husband during one of the darkest phases of Indian history – the Partition. At a time when women were preyed upon mercilessly on the grounds of the faith they belonged to, had no freedom to live or a sense of basic security, Zeenat had two options. 1 – To brace herself and endure. 2. To ignite and revolt. Clearly, she chose the latter option and emerged as a power to reckon with for decades to follow.. In standing up to the adversities strewn in her path and attaining a formidable stature in a world dominated by intimidating men, Zeenat is a role model for today’s women.

Produced by Salt Media LLP, the show marks the television debut of film actor Urvashi Sharma (Raina Joshi) essaying the author -backed title role. Seen for the very first time in a de-glam avatar, the actor has gone to great lengths to prepare for the role. The show also boasts of an ensemble star cast with stalwarts like Aman Verma in a never-before-seen avatar of a South Indian don Shekhran Shetty, supermodel-turned-actor Shahwar Ali making his debut on a television soap as Parvez – an upright lawyer who helps Zeenat fight for her rights, film actor Nawab Shah who makes a comeback to television as Haider, a dreaded underworld don who believes in action rather than words. Noted for his hard-hitting performances, Deepraj Rana will be seen as Kabeer Lal, a shrewd and strategic, power-hungry don from the Middle East. The renowned Nasir Khan Walker makes a comeback as Abas Shaikh, Zeenat’s husband who deserts her in the course of partition. The show is being shot at Ramoji Film City, Hyderbabad on a film camera in a film format to give the show the canvas and scale of a larger-than-life blockbuster. Not only are the actors of the show closely associated with films but even its technical crew and creative team have strong film backgrounds. The multi-layered sets that depict five distinct decades have been designed by art director Tariq Khan noted for his work in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. The costumes, jewelry and other accessories have been designed and created in-house by stylist  Ajay Kumar who has worked across opulent dramas like ‘Ram Leela’, ‘Bajirao Mastaani’ and ‘Phantom’. The dialogue for the show is penned by Aloke Upadhya who has assisted the direction of Salman Khan films like Dabangg 2, Partner and Jai Ho. The talented Kingshuk Chakravrthi is credited with the show’s impactful music and background score.

LifeOK's Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re

Supriya Pathak's new look not inspired from 'Ram-Leela'

Veteran actress Supriya Pathak, who is returning to TV after more than a year with “Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re”, says her role in the forthcoming show is completely different from the character of Dhankor Baa that she played in 2013 film “Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela”.

“A lot of people are asking me if my character in the show is same as that in 'Ram-Leela', but I want to clarify that both are different in their own way,” Supriya said in a statement.

“Both characters are strong and impactful and like 'Ram-Leela', even in this show I will be wearing a lot of dark colours because of the dark role. But you will know the difference in the character when you watch the show,” she added.

Not only is Supriya's role of Rambhateri different in “Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re”, she has also personally given her “views and opinions” to the makers to make it look unique.
“I'm happy that people are complimenting the look as I've personally been a part of the discussion about my look and given my views and opinions as to how it should be,” she said.

“Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re” will be aired on Life OK starting November 16.

TV show launched with 5,000 bows and arrows 

“Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re” - a new TV show was launched in a unique way here, when 5,000 people came together to pose with a bow and an arrow while aiming at the Ravana effigy to signify the end of evil.

“Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re” will be aired on Life OK starting in November, and will feature actors Jatin Sharma and Vinti Idnani along with veteran actress Supriya Pathak.

During the launch that happened at Dussehra Maidan in Vidyadhar Nagar, 5,000 people came together to pose with a bow and an arrow in attempting the Guinness World Record.

“It was an overwhelming feeling to launch the show amidst the people of the city I am from. Even my parents were there and we felt proud to be doing something never done before,” Jatin said in a statement.

Present at the launch were Jatin and Vinti, who encouraged the crowd to take this initiative of not just burning the effigy of Ravana but also burn the evil dug deep within us to which we give the power to take 
over.

They also showed a glimpse of the show through a 60-second promo.
