As per our reliable source, in the coming episode, it will be shown that Udaan (Daipayan Chakraborty) will get a leave for the day of Kalipujo to visit his family.Jannat (Soumi Chakraborty) too will get a leave to visit her home. However, instead of her sister, she will land up at Udaan’s home to decorate the house with flowers.

Well, of course she will be shocked to see Udaan. And on seeing Jannat there, Bikram (Krishnendu), the officer in charge, who brought Udaan home, will threaten to punish her.
Noticing Udaan speaking to Jannat, Saroja (Maitrayee) will wonder what he is doing with the flower girl!

Next, it will be shown that to make her devious plans successful, Saroja will give Udaan money to party with his friends on the Diwali night.



So, what will be her plan? Well, Saroja will make sure that Udaan would not be able to sit for the puja with his father.

But… Yes, readers…there is a ‘but’ here…But Jannat will stop Udaan from going to the party and tell him to sit for the puja. What will Udaan do? Will he go to the party or be there at the puja?

Aakash Aath brings back popular children’s show ‘Lakhi Chana’!

Time to welcome back the popular children’s show ‘Lakhi Chana’! Yes readers, Aakash Aath is launching the second edition of the show. The game show, which is for the children in between the age groups of 4-10 years, witnesses the cute kids place their cute complains about their mummas and papas. It was first launched in 2002 and had run till 2012.

Well-known actor Sujan Mukherjee, popular as Neel, was the anchor of the serial. Sujan is also anchoring the second edition. And this time, the programme is returning with a lot of new things. 

While talking about the new things, the first one that deserves a special mention is the ‘set’. 

The set is an underwater marine life picture, which itself entails the basics to keep the Lakhi Chana story rolling. 

With underwater beautiful creatures like tortoise, starfish etc, the set will be a visual treat for the children as well as adults. To give it a feel of a fantasy world, the team has also installed two beautiful mermaids and a treasure box.  Sujan, who is excited to be back as the anchor, explained the idea behind the set, “Actually, he (Joy Chandra Chandra, set designer) has created a fantasy world.”

“My character, Captain Neel, had gone on a voyage via ship. However, it got drowned. And now he has returned and created a space for the children under the water. So, the idea begins from there,” he added. 

Commenting on the return of show after a gap of four years, Eshita Surana, Director, Aakash Aath said, “With both the parents working in almost every household, the child gets little time from their parents. So, somewhere the child has started feeling very insecure, somewhere the child is feeling that he/she is being left alone and not given proper time. That is the reason why we decided to bring the show back.” 

“Through it we would try to know what children want from their parents. We want to tighten the bond between the parents and children,” she added. Now coming to the rounds of the game, it will start off with ‘Choto Mukhe Boro Katha’ followed by ‘Lakhi Chaanar Adalot’, Jin Na Genious’, ‘Thakumar Jhuli na Dhishkaon Guli’ and ‘Ichche Holo’. The entire game show has music and different entertaining characters to add drama like a grandmother (Soumi Pradhan), a Gin (Anitesh Bhattacharya) etc. So, gear up for this television extravaganza! Directed by Somnath Roy, it will start from 14 November airing Monday to Friday, 5 pm.

Sunshine Productions launches AdhaFULL, a ‘coming of age’ action drama series

Doordarshan is all set to launch a beautiful ‘coming of age’ story AdhaFULL produced by Sunshine Productions.

The show follows three adolescents - Kitty, Tara and Adrak, who form the AdhaFULL gang, as they solve a new case each week. The mysteries solved by the gang are intertwined with their journey of growing up in a small town called Badlipur. The AdhaFULL threesome is a ‘whodunit’ gang. They set things right in the fictional town of Badlipur (the town of change), which lives in many centuries, swinging like a pendulum between its ‘rural’ avtaar of the past and its present small town persona with ‘urban’ trappings.



Every week, the AdhaFULL gang solves a new case (each mystery plot unfolds over three half-hour episodes). In doing so, they encounter issues such as underage marriage, sex-selective abortion, female foeticide, dowry, fair skin and beauty myths, stereotyping of girls and boys, sexual health, financial dependence, peer pressure, school drop-outs and exam blues, hygiene and sanitation, drug and alcohol abuse, gender-based violence. While the adolescents dive in to find missing jewels, go on chases, investigate with the help of internet and gizmos, bringing kidnappers, blackmailers, quacks and baddies to book, the audience gets drawn into the ‘coming of age’ issues and a fascinating array of characters and situations.

Every episode ends on a cliff-hanger. While the last episode of the week unravels the mystery, it also ends with a tease on the long-running personal story that should whet audience appetite. Kitty, Tara and Adrak, each has a special talent, and together they achieve extraordinary feats by overcoming the heart-rending challenges life throws up.

To have the maximum impact, the television series will be supported by a 78-episode-long radio show called Full on Nikki, as well as a mobile game, an inter-personal toolkit, graphic novels and DVD omnibuses. The series being supported by our desi girl Priyanka Chopra and the heart beat of millions, Madhuri Dixit. Farhan Akhtar has also shown support by creating a youth anthem AdhaFULL song!

Star Plus’ popular historical drama Chandra Nandini (Balaji Telefilms) is winning applauds for its stellar cast andthe way of storytelling.

As you all know that entries and exits are part and parcel of daily soaps, we hear that, a popular character from the daily will soon be bidding adieu to the show.

Well, the very popular actor Arpit Ranka gave his last shot on the sets of Chandra Nandini yesterday (19th June) as Mahapadmanand as his part will end in the story.

Our source informs us that, Arpit’s character will come to an end followed by a war with Chandra (Rajat Tokas) in an upcoming track.

When we contacted Arpit, he told us, “My last day on sets was quite an emotional moment for me and everyone present there. The entire cast and crew told me that they will miss me.”

Ekroop Bedi joins the cast of Star Plus' Chandra Nandini

Talented actor Ekroop Bedi, last seen in shows Suhani Si Ek Ladki and Vishkanya, has bagged her next plump TV offer. And this will be a new challenge for the girl, as it will be her first ever stint in a historical show!!

Also, Ekroop is happy about the fact that she will be working with Balaji Telefilms for her new show.

Well, she will be seen in a prime role in Ekta’s ambitious project on Star Plus, Chandra Nandini.

Ekroop will play the best buddy of Nandini (Shweta Prasad Basu) who will be her support, confidante and closest friend. Ekroop's character, Kinnari will also take to the warfield along with Nandini, as the story would progress.

The actress has been given a pretty look with costumes and jewellery adding up to her glam quotient.

Chandra Nandini launches tonight on Star Plus.

Shweta Basu Prasad will appear in Chandra Nandini, which will be aired on Star Plus from October 10.

National Award-winning actress Shweta Basu Prasad, who was caught in a controversy two years ago, is returning to the small screen with Chandra-Nandni. She says “it’s an exciting time for actors” on TV as there’s more variety of characters than ever before. “Variety in roles (for actors) is a consequence of variety in shows (on TV), which I do see a lot now. (Today) shows are plot-based and concise. The stories are different, there (are) seasons being introduced. I think it is an exciting time for television and TV actors,” Shweta said.

Shweta found fame on the small screen through her roles in shows like Kutumb, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Karishma Kaa Karishma. She won a National Film Award for Best Child Artist for her double role in 2002 film Makdee. “I have been refraining from doing TV for at least five to six years now as I was busy finishing my studies and working as a script consultant in Phantom Films. I never received anything on television that excited me enough,” said the actress, who was last seen on TV in two episodes of Darr Sabko Lagta Hai last year.

Shweta said that being an outsider, she has always faced a struggle in her career. And that she still gives auditions for roles. “I have been an outsider who has grown up in the industry. I have always had these circles in my growing up days too. It was just a matter of right project and age. But, yet I do give auditions and screen tests like any other actress in Lokhandwala (in Mumbai),” Shweta said.

Sony TV’s Beyhadh

Sony Entertainment Television’s Beyhadh is soon going to witness a four-year leap as it inches closer to the end. The show will go off-air soon and the makers have decided to end the show with a time jump of four years in the narrative. Till now we sae that Arjun (Kushal Tandon) and Saanjh (Aneri Vajani) have managed to get married, despite Maya (Jennifer Winget) attempts to keep them apart. Now the married couple is happy and going by the pictures that have made their way to social media, they will be sporting a new look. I mean, they mostly look the same, except that their style has changed, and Kushal will now be wearing spectacles and basically will look more hot. Aneri is also looking more beautiful in her mommy avatar.

Fans are definitely going to miss Beyhadh after the plug has been pulled. The show has become extremely popular amongst the masses. So much that Jennifer apparently started charging Rs 1 lakh per episode. It was suppose to off air last month, but they extended it because of the immense love from the fans.
