Kannada Special show Karunada Rathna (Puneeth Rajkumar)

Special television show Karunada Rathna to pay tribute to Puneeth Rajkumar. A weekend television show Karnataka Rathna in remembrance of Puneeth Rajkumar will be aired on a leading general entertainment channel tomorrow and Sunday at 7:30pm. The show is hosted by Anushree.

On the show, Ravichandran who has composed a song which traces the life journey and achievement of Puneeth Rajkumar since his tender age when he won national award will be played on the stage along with a dance performance. Music director Hamsalekha has composed a song on Puneeth Rajkumar which is being crooned by Kambada Rangiaah, who was one of the contestants of singing show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Actors Shivarajkumar will also croon a popular song Baana Dariyalli on stage. The event is organized by GKGS trust and Varun studios has impressed viewers with it’s promos and pictures which is being shared on social media.

Prithvi and Thiyan from Chennai claimed the runners-up crown along with a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh. Following them, the charming classical dancers’ Kavya and Mahalakshmi also had their moment of joy when they were declared the second runners-up. Manoj-Amrita, the dancing duo from Kerala, won the hearts of the judges with their scintillating performances throughout the season. They were exceptional in the grand finale, too, presenting a wide range of dance forms, topped by their contemporary and freestyle routines. • Dance Vs Dance was one of the leading dance shows of Tamil television. This dance show, which premiered on November 24, 2018, kept the audience entertained for 14 weeks. Finally, Dance Vs Dance show came to an end with a perfect finale (on March 3) and Ankita and Pooja bagged the title.
• Dance Vs Dance started its journey with 14 pairs. After many rounds of eliminations, only four pairs made it to the finale. Valli and Karthik gear up for a week-long celebration: It almost felt like entering the mantapam of a real wedding – flower decor arrangements, stage set-up, a mehendi corner, and people dressed up in their ethnic best – until we realised that Valli (Nakshathra) is getting married to Karthik (Shyam). The TV soap Valli Thirumanam is gearing up for a spectacular wedding episode. Shot for over a week, director R Devendran says that they are excited to telecast the sequences.“We had shot the sequences over a span of eight days with 300-500 artistes and crew. An actual wedding hall was chosen to ensure that our audiences have a realistic wedding experience right from their television screens. We began the telecast this week, with a duration of one hour. Since Friday is a muhurthanaal, our show will be telecast for two hours. I am certain that the audiences will have a week full of entertainment with twists and turns while witnessing dance, comedy, and a myriad of sentiments.” The director also adds that this will be a sangamam episode. “Artistes from Amman 3, Abhi Tailor and Namma Madurai Sisters also took part as guests in this special wedding week celebration.” Devendran says that the cast was cooperative and understanding of the tight schedule. “All the actors worked hard throughout the eight days. Everyone gave their 100 per cent with just minimum breaks and a singular focus on just completing the shoot whilst giving a spectacular performance and being punctual for each shot. Actors like Nalini, Gayathri Jayaraman, Nakshathra, Shyam, Sethu, and Nanjil Vijayan, and others, never let it slow down. Even the junior artistes were all the more obliging. I thought it would be strenuous, but everyone was efficient and reciprocal,” he says.
