The actress essays the character of 'Devika', who is a strong and independent woman. "I was always looking forward to the daily soap Olavina Nildhana ever since I got to know Shruthi Naidu ma'am was writing the story and she is deeply connected with it. I wanted to be a part of the show since the premiere but it didn't happen. One fine day, when I was travelling, I got a call from the team briefing me about a new character entry in the story. I was all excited. I underwent a look test, got selected and started to shoot accordingly."
• The actress opens up about her on-screen character too. She said, "I am essaying the role of Devika in Olavina Nildhana. She is a very strong and independent woman, who has seen a lot of hardships in her life. Besides all odds, Devika has emerged to be a fighter in her life. So, she is helping the female protagonist 'Tharuni' to come out and move on from a wrong relationship. So, basically right now, Devika is seen guiding and helping Tharuni emotionally in the show."
• She added, "Ofcourse, there will be a few tweaks and turns in the upcoming storyline. I feel it's too early to reveal about it. The story is not as it is portrayed now. A major twist will soon be introduced in Olavina Nildhana."
• "Returning to the acting routine is an amazing feeling. It is indeed refreshing. This particular production house in which Olavina Nildhana is being helmed is being very kind to me. It's just like a family to me," she said,
• She further sums up saying, "I used to meet the artists of Olavina Nildhana during many occasions organised by Shruthi Ma'am. Somehow, I never had a chance to strike a proper conversation with them. It was always a very casual meet. But, ever since I have been a part of their show, they have accommodated me with a warm heart. They are so cordial and surprising. We have lunch together and spend a lot of time on the sets of the daily soap. I look forward to my shoot schedule."
