Madhuri Sanjeev to be part of Star Plus' big-ticket show Mere Nikatthu

Madhuri Sanjeev played the very dignified widow Bela to the ‘T’ in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha. Now the actress is part of Colors’ Beintehaa.

Soon, she will be seen in a pivotal role in Star Plus’ Mere Nikatthu, produced by Shashi-Sumeet Productions.

A source says, “Madhuri will play chachi to the lead boy, essayed by Priyansh Jora. She will play a positive role, and will be part of this conservative family.”
For the uninitiated, Mere Nikatthu is tentatively based on the Govinda- Karishma Kapoor starrer, Raja Babu.

Recently, Tellychakkar.com flashed the news of Shivani Tomar being ousted, and the maker roping in Sonia Balani as the female lead.

When contacted, Madhuri told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I am part of the show. But I seriously cannot talk about anything at the moment. I hope you understand.”

As reported in media, Akhilendra Mishra and Amita Khopkar will play the parents of Priyansh.

Najma has a new dilemma to tackle in Sony PAL's Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne

This young girl has been at a loss from the time she dreamt of being a successful tennis player. After facing opposition and financial difficulties, Najma (Ashnoor Kaur) will finally see her dreams coming alive, as she will get selected for the state championship in Sony PAL’s Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne (Sphere Origins).

As per the ongoing track, Najma had been hiding her tennis aspirations from her family, with only her mother knowing of it. She would be all excited to know about her selection, but it would fall flat when the date would be one on a holiday, leaving her at a loss.
Shares a source, “Since she always went out in the pretext of school, Najma would discuss the matter with her mother on how they would manage to get out of the house on a holiday.”

And to her surprise, her cousins will come to her rescue as they would chalk out a fool proof plan for her. The children would plan going to the zoo along with Mariyam (Barkha Bisht) and sneak away for the tennis match on the way.

The mother-daughter would be impressed by the plan and decide to go for it, until a hurdle will come to the fore when Badi ammi (Parull Chaudhary) and Abbu (Asif Sheikh) would also decide to tag along to the zoo with them.

Imran and Shabnam to have a showdown in Sony Pal's Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne

The word ‘drama’ has become synonymous with Sony Pal’s Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne (Sphereorigins).

As viewers have seen in the last episode, Maryam (Barkha Bisht Sengupta) had scolded and spoken rather rudely to Imran (Hasan Zaidi) stating that he has been trying to come close to her. This had left Imran shaken and disturbed. He is unaware of the fact that Maryam’s animosity stemmed from negative influence of Shabnam, their neighbor.

Shares a source, “After trying to manipulate Maryum, Shabnam who is regarded as the gossip monger in the neighbourhood, will now play smart and try to do the same with Imran.”
She would go to Imran and bitch about Maryum and how she is trying to lure him so that she can get romantically involved with him. Being a widow with a young child, Shabnam would warn Imran to stay away from Maryum lest she tries to use him for her advantage.

Hearing such ill talks about Maryam, Imran would realise that it was she who had been trying to create a misunderstanding between them. Although he has no feelings for Maryam he would be worried by the fact that both their characters have become the talk of the town. He will be seen telling Shabnam to stay in her limits and not use her gossipy habit on them. The two will be seen getting into an intense showdown.

Till now the focus on Sony Pal’s Tum Saath Ho Jabh Apne has been on building up a relationship between the kid Najma (Ashnoor Kaur) and her mentor Imran (Hasan Zaidi). But soon the show by Sphereorigins will shift the limelight to the bond between Imran and Mariyam (Barkha Bisht).

As seen so far, Mariyam has been feeling guilty about being harsh towards Imran and she would be seen wanting to stop him from leaving the neighbourhood. As the woman will be going out for some work in an auto she would be surprised to find Imran being her co passenger

Shares a source, “On her way the other co passenger would try to harass Mariyam and also touch her inappropriately. She will be shocked and not know how to react when Imran would notice the man’s ill intentions.”

Neha to inspire Aman to fall for the game of cricket again in Sony TV's Itti Si Khushi

Neha (Smriti Kalra), will turn inspirational for Aman (Anuj Sachdeva) to yet again fall in love with the game of cricket, in Director’s Kut’s recently launched show for Sony TV, Itti Si Khushi.

As per yesterday’s episode, Neha opened up the topic of cricket with Aman, and told him to follow his dreams. However, Aman tried to tell her that not all dreams come true, and that every person ended up doing something different to make money.

In tonight’s episode, the conversation between them will continue with Neha showing Aman the ball with which he had once hit eight sixes to win a match for his team. Aman would get nostalgic, but would curb his feelings.

As per a source, “Neha will indicate to Aman that if at all she would want to get back something from the past, it will be his passion for the game. This will prompt Aman to pick up his old bad, dust it off and hold it in his hand. He would re-live past memories wherein his batting prowess had been the talk of the town. He would then recollect his promise to Gayathri (Amardeep Jha) that he would never ever play the game. For a second, he would forget all about the promise, take the ball and start bouncing it on the ground. Hearing the sound, Gayathri would barge into his room, and would be stunned to see Aman holding the cricket bat in his hand.”

Will Aman curb his passion for Gayathri? Or will Neha’s magical words give him a new future with the game?

There’s good news coming for the fans of Neha (Smriti Kalra), the girl who has just woken up after a 12 years old slumber in Sony Entertainment Television’s Itti Si Khushi (Director’s Kut Productions).
Well, in the coming episodes, Aman (Anuj Sachdeva) will decide to break his engagement with
Aakanksha (Heena Parmar) and will want to get engaged to his lady love, Neha.

However, Gayatri (Amardeep Jha) will go completely against this decision of Aman, and will be angry over him.

As per a source, “Even though Gayatri would be extremely unhappy with him, Aman will plan to
confess his love for Neha.”

Being jealous in a relationship is a proof of true love and soon Akanksha (Heena Parmar) will go all green with envy showcasing her feelings for Aman (Anuj Sachdeva) in Sony Entertainment Television’s Itti Si Khushi (Director’s Kut).

As seen so far, Akanksha is all set to get engaged to Aman. As for her sister Neha (Smriti Kalra), who has woken up from coma after 12 years, she still has feelings for Aman. Although the engagement news came as a shocker to her, Neha has been taking part in the engagement preparation to show her love for her sister Akanksha.

In the coming episodes, Akanksha and her family will be out shopping jewellery when they will bump into Aman and his family at a same shop.

There, in comedy of errors, the shopkeeper would take Neha to be the bride and ask her and Aman to try out engagement rings.

It seems Sony Entertainment Television is on a high these days.

After launching two new shows Hum Hai Naa and Humsafars, the channel it all set to roll out another daily drama Itti Si Khushi produced by Rajan Shahi.

The show stars the very beautiful and bubbly Smriti Kalra (Suvreen Guggal) and the charming actor Anuj Sachdeva (Chhanchhan).

From its promo the show looks very fresh and interesting but the pivotal question is will it manage to cut itself out from the daily show clutter and carve a niche?

Sony TV's Itti Si Khushi bring a dose of freshness and unique concept to the viewers which will keep thme glued to their TV screens.

Sony Entertainment Television launches its new show Itti Si Khushi produced by Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut Production. Ace producer Rajan Shahi is known for making some good shows like Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Amrit Manthan and a few more with a fascinating storyline.

Elaborating  little on the story line it revolves around a girl Neha who meets an accident by the age of 14 and goes into coma for 15 years. She wakes up as a beautiful girl of 26 years. Neha is a girl who is innocent by heart but very kiddish at the same time. She wants to enjoy the time which she has missed in her life, people feel weird looking at her stupid and kiddish behavior, but she wins everyone's heart by her innocence which makes her even more special.

Smrita Kalra and Anuj Sachdeva will be seen as lead of the show. Anuj will be essaying the role of Aman who is a reserved person and falls in love with this bubbly and sweet girl.

Raghav to confess his love for Soniya in Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi

Love will finally knock on the doors of Raghav (Rahul Sharma) and Soniya (Preeti Chaudhary) in Sony Pal’s Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi.

The show by Shashi Sumeet Productions Pvt Ltd has been portraying the beautiful tale of how four sisters together are trying to hook up their eldest sister Soniya with the man (Raghav), who they feel is perfect for him. However, their expectations went down the drain when they got to know that the two don’t love each other and had faked their engagement ceremony.

They had then asked them to break their relationship by giving back their engagement rings to each other. Now, the couple would agree on the same and would decide to do it after performing a special puja. And here viewers will see how god will have a different plan for them.

Shares a source, “While performing the parikrama of the mandir, Sonia would sprain her foot leading Raghav to carry her in his arms. And as they would go around the mandir, he will realise his love for the girl.”

Raghav would then be seen professing his love for Soniya and telling her how he wants to spend his entire life with her.

The story of the young prince played by Bhavesh Babani, kept you hooked to the TV screens, and now it’s time to see him grow up.

And guess who will play the teenage royal prince?

Handsome lad Abhishek Nigam, brother of the popular Siddharth Nigam (Ashoka) has been signed in to play the titular role.

This will be Abhishek’s first big outing on TV. He was earlier in talks to play the lead in Siya Ke Ram.

Punjabi film actor Vivaan Arora to enter Khushiyon Ki Gullakh - Aashi

Miloni Moviez’ Khushiyon Ki Gullakh – Aashi on Sony PAL will see a new twist in the form of the entry of Girish, who would be the husband of Meetu, the girl Vishesh (Naman Shaw) loved.

Punjabi actor Vivaan Arora will make his debut into television with this role. He will play the negative guy who would start torturing Meetu, when he would learn of her having an affair with Vishesh.
Vivaan has done Punjabi movies Aish Kar Lai and Ek Wari Haan Karde.

When contacted, Vivaan confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I will be entering Khushiyon Ki Gullakh Aashi in tonight’s episode. I will play the negative guy Girish, who is the husband of Meetu.”

As we know, Vishesh has had a bad past of having been accused of molestation; the guy has also been in jail.

Life has taken a U-turn for Arzoo (Shivya Pathania) post her forceful marriage with Sahir (Harshad Chopda), and now it will take another major turn in Sony Entertainment Television’ Humsafars (4 Lions Film).

As seen so far, Zeenat (Neha Janpandit) has been shifted home from the hospital and her presence has been causing lot of worries to Arzoo as she feels that Zeenat is hale and hearty and pretending to be in coma.

Shares a source, “In the coming episodes, Arzoo will be shocked to see Zeenat in the swimming pool. Knowing that she is immobile at the moment, Arzoo would get scared and jump into the pool to save her.”

Since Arzoo too doesn’t know swimming she would be struggling with Zeenat in the pool. Arzoo would be seen trying her best to get both to the safe corners. But all her efforts will be put to vain when the family would arrive there only to blame Arzoo for all the mishaps.

Humsafars actors surprise crew with a happening 'New Year' bash

Almost all shows on television these days are entertaining. And working the hardest among the team are the crew members who contribute their blood and sweat to make the episodes going without any hitch.

The actors of Sony Entertainment Television’s Humsafars (4 Lions Films) recently decided to treat the crew members with a fun filled night on the sets of the show.
Shares a source, “On 30 December, a day before the team was to go on leave, the cast planned for a surprise New Year bash. 

They got drinks and food for all and played the best of the peppy numbers.”

The production guys who had been working extra hard, were pleasantly surprised and thanked the team for their thoughtful gesture. And then, they partied hard till the wee hours of the morning.

Shared Sehban Azim, who plays Zaki in the show, “What a night it was! The entire team danced throughout. I along with 
Harshad (Chopda), Shivya (Pathania), Veebha ji (Chibber) and Purva (Parag) had the best of the time with the team. The crew works so much and they deserve some fun and this was the prime reason we thought of organising party. Post all the masti we sat together and bonded over food and by wishing each other a prosperous year ahead we wrapped up our grand celebration.”

Sahir challenges Zaki; decides to trap Aarzoo in his love in Sony TV's Humsafars

The love triangle between Sahir-Aarzoo-Zaki will get all the more complicated in Sony Entertainment Television’s Humsafars (4 Lions Films) on the day of Aarzoo’s (Shivya Pathania) birthday.

Also, there will be an ‘I Love You’ drama between the brothers Sahir (Harshad Chopda) and Zaki (Sehban Azim) in the coming episodes.

Yes, the brothers will get into a war of words when Zaki will confess his love for Aarzoo before Sahir. A stunned Sahir would tell Zaki that Aarzoo is a girl who would fall in love with any man who is rich. In the argument that will follow, Sahir will challenge Zaki that he will trap Aarzoo in his love and will utter the magical words ‘I love you’ to her!!

Sahir who will be under tremendous pressure from Rehman (Deepak Chaddha) will decide to remove Aarzoo from the minds of Zaki, as he will want all his proofs of burning the factory back from Rehman. Also, Rehman would have insisted that he will return Sahir the proofs on the day of Zaki’s wedding to his daughter Samaira (Nasheen Khan).

With Aarzoo’s birthday coming, both Sahir and Zaki will plan their special treat to win their personal battles.

A source says, “Zaki will plan to take Aarzoo out for a romantic dinner and will start making arrangements for the same. Meanwhile, Sahir will order all in Sayyara to work on a special and secret order, without letting Aarzoo know about it. Eventually, the secret order will be a specially designed dress for Aarzoo. Sahir will make her wear the dress, present her with a romantic candle-lit dinner in which his motive will be to say ‘I love you’ to her in order to keep her away from Zaki. Also, as per Sahir’s plan, Samaira will fake a medical emergency and will force Zaki to take her to the hospital.”

We hear that this romantic outing of Sahir and Aarzoo will lead to a lot of conflicting thoughts in Sahir’s mind, as he will be pulled towards Aarzoo and her beauty. However, his mind will know that he is faking the love drama just to keep Zaki away from her.

Sony Entertainment Television’s popular show Humsafars (4 Lions Films) has been presenting some exciting plot lines for the viewers. With the entry of Nasheen Khan, who plays Samaira, the estranged girlfriend of Zaki (Sehban Azim), the plot will thicken in the coming days.

Falling prey to the situation will be Arzoo (Shivya Pathania) who will once again find herself in a misunderstood situation.

As viewers would know, Samaira is pregnant with Zaki’s child and this development has left the latter in a lurch as he is trying his best to sort out the sudden shock of becoming an unwed dad.

Sony Entertainment Television’s Humsafars (4 Lions Films) has been impressing viewers with its dramatic twists and turns. Now gear up to watch Arzoo (Shivya Pathania) getting embroiled in another ill plan of Anam (Payal Rohatgi).

Seeing that Arzoo is much more talented than her, Anam has been burning with envy and now to take revenge she would plan to get her career destroyed by getting her arrested.

Soon, the romantic saga Humsafars (4 Lions Films) on Sony Entertainment Television will witness a little ‘cockroach’ intimacy between Sahir (Harshad Chopda) and Arzoo (Shivya Pathania).

In the coming scenes, Sahir and Arzoo will enter into an argument. They would be standing near a pool and a creepy cockroach will land on Arzoo, scaring her heart out.

Zeena Bhatia to enter Sony TV's Humsafars

Sony Entertainment Television’s show Humsafars is all set to bring an Eid special episode tonight on the show. With few major twist and turns happening, the 4 Lions Films productions will only spice up proceedings in the coming episodes.

And actress Zeena Bhatia is all set to enter the show as Sahir’s (Harshad Chopda) kurti clad nanny, fondly called Kurti Aapa. Zeena, who is a popular name in the Punjabi movie circuit, has also done the movie Miss Lovely.

The good looking Sehban Azim has always portrayed shades of grey in his previous roles but in Sony Entertainment Television’s Humsafars (4 Lions Film) he will be seen playing a casanova with much style. With his boyish charm, Sehban was the perfect choice to play the role of Zaki, a flirt by nature. In the show, Zaki’s character is shown as a womanizer but with a golden heart.

Speaking about his role, Sehban said, “In many ways Zaki is like how I am in real life. I am a little shy but Zaki is this flamboyant, extrovert who has his way with women. He enjoys undivided attention of women and is completely at ease in their company. He is eagerly waiting to fall in love but on the other hand he will not leave a chance to flirt with any random girl he finds pretty and that is where I connect with Zaki. He is also very suave, so I am loving it. It’s been fun portraying the role and in the coming episodes you will get to see the other side of him too!”

In his entry scene, Zaki will be seen in hot pursuit of one of the pretty young girls who will be attending the pre-Eid party on the show. And of course, Zaki instead of the traditional mehendi will leave behind his number on this gorgeous girl’s palm.

The hot and beautiful Payal Rohatgi has made her presence felt on the big screen and now the actress is all set to take the small screen by storm. Making her debut with a full-fledged role, Payal will be seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s show Humsafars (4 Lions Films) in a negative avatar.

Having been part of reality shows earlier, this is the first time Payal will be seen in a fiction show. Payal will be seen essaying the role of a stylish vamp Anam who is an ambitious, career driven woman and whose marital status does not deter her from making strong career choices.

Now Tellychakkar.com has an exclusive piece of news from the sets of the show. The actress who will make an entry in the show tomorrow (30 September) recently was fined on the sets while shooting.
Fined for what?

Well, the production team has made an interesting regulation on the sets that whoever’s phone rings while a shot is in process, the offender will have to shell out either Rs 750 or treat the whole team with ice cream.

Shares a source, “It was Payal’s first day on shoot and as she was shooting for her entry sequence, her phone loudly rang twice. The girl was left embarrassed but took the fine quite sportingly. Payal has already treated the unit with ice cream but her second fine is still due.”

Well we are sure the cool treat must have been a relief for the team. and we wonder whether next time Payal will keep her phone at bay?

Sony Entertainment Television’s Humsafars (4 Lions Films) will soon see an Eid special episode which will be star-studded.

Yes, the Eid special episode in the show will see an Eid function happening in Sahir’s (Harshad Chopda) home. But the main highpoint will be the fashion show that will follow on the day of Eid.
A source states, “In the fashion show, a very expensive dress of Queen Jahan Aara will be put to display. And Sahir will win the bid to buy the dress and will spend 2 crore on it.”

Also, viewers will see most of the actors, part of Sony TV shows gracing this fashion event.

The source adds, “Though the date for shoot of the Eid Fashion event has not been decided, the channel wants it to be a huge-key affair. Faisal Khan aka Maharana Pratap, Kinshuk Mahajan, the lead of Rashmi Sharma’s show, Anuj Sachdeva and Smriti Kalra from Itti Si Khushi are expected to perform at the fashion event.”

Sahir and Aarzoo's 'tashan' to continue in Sony TV's Humsafars

Sony Entertainment Television’s latest offering Humsafars, produced by 4 Lions Films, has impressed the audience in its first week, with its beautifully framed story line. Viewers have already got to see a lot of ‘tashan’ happening between Sahir (Harshad Chopda) and Aarzoo (Shivya Pathania) in the opening week.
Now their equation will be taken to a greater level when in the coming episodes, Aarzoo would get Sahir arrested under the charge of him trying to blast the entire airport.

In the episodes to air, Alvira (Vibha Chibber) would give Aarzoo her air tickets to Mumbai which will put the entire family in excitement. However, Aarzoo will have an emotional time with her family before she would set foot on her journey.

At the airport, Aarzoo will over hear a phone conversation about a person by name Sahir blasting the airport. She will immediately report the same at the Airport security after which Sahir will be taken into custody.

However, Sahir will somehow find a way out of custody through the minister Rehman (Deepak Chaddha) and will board the same flight’s economy class, in which Aarzoo would be travelling. On the flight, their tashan will continue as Aarzoo would have made herself comfortable in the window seat, offered to Sahir.
Aarzoo would win the battle by telling Sahir that there will be every chance of her puking on him if given the middle seat.

Will Aarzoo have an easy time in her first ever flight journey?

Payal Rohatgi set to make television fiction debut with Sony TV's Humsafars

The sexy and seductive actresses, known for their histrionics in reality shows, seem to be going in for a change, by taking up fiction shows on Indian television. After Monica Bedi portrayed the powerful character of Gumaan in Saraswatichandra, it is now the turn of Payal Rohatgi to take up a challenging role in a show.
Yes, Payal has been finalized to play the negative lead in 4 Lions Films' new show Humsafars, to launch on Sony Entertainment Television from 22 September.

As per a source, Payal has replaced actress Tanvi Thakkar at the last minute. Tanvi had in fact started shoot, but then came a new development. Tanvi apparently did not match the ‘glamourous’ expectations of the creatives, which was needed to do justice to the role.

Now, instead of Tanvi, Payal will be playing bhabhi to the male lead Sahir (Harshad Chopda). It will be a powerful role and out and out negative. She will be working with Sahir in his fashion house, Saiyaara.
Furthermore, Actor Vishal Nayak will be playing the role of Sahir's brother.

When contacted, Payal confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com saying, "Yes, television's reach today is growing by leaps and bounds. And I have been contemplating taking up a good powerful role in fiction space, something different from the reality shows I have done earlier. Yes, I am doing Humsafars, playing the negative lead. It is a very challenging role."

Raj to save Avni's life yet again in Zee TV's Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya

As per a source, Avni’s life will be in danger while she would be travelling to Umathgaon. Few goons would constantly chase her, and she will be in a dire state when Raj will once again save her life.

Zee TV’s Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (Director’s Kut) will see a very important new entry in Bharat Chawda as Virat in tonight’s episode.

As already reported in media, Chawda will play the uncle of Raj (Mishkat Varma). Virat, the character he will play will be connected to the back story of Bhavna (Reena Kapoor). Basically, the man will be a good-looking, young bachelor who will be a typical Rajasthani in his look as well as in attire. He will also have a Rajasthani tone in his language.

His entry will take place amidst huge preparations happening for Raj and Avni’s (Kanchi Singh) wedding. In one of the rituals happening, Anjali (Rukhsar Rehman) will tell that she awaits the arrival of one more person for the ‘neg’. That will be when a car would arrive, and Virat, Anjali’s brother will be shown getting down.

Moving to his character, Virat will be a completely negative character. He will immediately recognize Bhavna as Sangeeta, and will start making her life miserable. The man will be out to avenge an insult that Bhavna had meted out on him way in the past.

'Sangeet' drama in Zee TV's Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya

It’s going to be quite a lot of ‘Sangeet’ drama in Zee TV’s Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (Director’s Kut) with Vikram Purohit (Vinay Jain) and Bhavna (Reena Kapoor) coming face to face!!

The confrontation between them will happen in the dance sequence wherein all will be masked. Everyone present will be dancing to the number ‘Parda Hai Parda’ from the movie Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai, and at the end of the dance, when everyone would remove the mask, the dreaded confrontation will happen.

Akshat would not realize that he is going overboard with his reaction.”

Big Magic’s Mahi Sagar (Hats Off Productions) will see an interesting episode wherein the NRI friend of Sagar (Anuj Thakur) will be presumed to be a cold-blooded killer. The story will have funny and interesting twists, with the role of the NRI friend Sumit being played by actor Sandesh Gour.

All confusion will erupt when Mahi (Dharti Bhatt) will see on television the news about a serial killer who would always roam around with a rope, injection, white cotton cloth as his modus operandi for killing. And when Sagar’s NRI friend Sumit who would have a passion for trekking, will enter the house, Mahi will presume him to be the serial killer.

To add to the confusion, Mahi will also dream about the guy killing a person in their family. And immediately she will summon the police who would check Sumit’s belongings and will even arrest him on finding his trekking rope and other accessories with him.

This hilarious comedy will eventually end in the police nabbing the real culprit, and with this Sumit will be proved innocent.

SAB TV's Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai

Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai to go off air on 26 September; FIR to get back as a daily

The comedy show with a twist, Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai on SAB TV was launched with much fanfare. Produced by Frames Productions, the serial had a live audience and churned some hilarious performances. But as they say all good things come to an end and Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai will soon bid farewell to small screen.

The show starred comedy veterans Alok Nath, Supriya Pathak, Rajesh Kumar, Apara Mehta and others like Shweta Gulati, Ami Trivedi, Abhishek Awasthi among many more. The plot was an interesting one where a man (Alok Nath) rented out his house to some hilarious kind of people and their interactions led to mind boggling comic situations.

Started in July, the show had a short run and will air its last episode on 26 September.

When we called producer Ranjeet Thakur he was busy in a meeting. Before hanging up he did confirm saying, “Yes the show is going off air.”

And if you are wondering what will take its place, it’s none other than the channel’s favourite serial FIR (Edit II Productions).

Yes, prior to the launch of Tu Mere…. FIR was a daily airing at the 10:30 pm slot. With the innovative show coming in, FIR was shifted on weekends with an hour long run. But now FIR will shift back to its original time, becoming a daily with Tu Mere ending.

A channel spokesperson confirmed the developments.

Syed Mamoon and Oksana Rasulova win 'India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj'

After auditioning thousands across the nation and posing a slew of challenges at them, Zee TV’s acting talent hunt show – India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj, announced their winners at a star-studded night. From standing in long queues to audition for the show, to striving and outshining others week after week, Uttar Pradesh’s Syed Mamoon and Azerbaijan’s Oksana Rasulova emerged as the winners of the season.

Week-on-week, the two won accolades for their performances not only from the judges – director Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor, Anurag Basu and the gorgeous Sonali Bendre but also won the hearts of millions watching them on television. Meenu Panchal played the role of a maharashtrian bai in Kumkum Bhagya. Being a Haryanvi girl, the ease with which Meenu caught on to the Marathi accent was commendable. Playing a mawali, Bhawna Dhoundiyal stepped into the shoes of a firebrand girl who fights for everybody’s rights in the show Pavitra Rishta. A tough girl even otherwise, Bhawna was seen carrying the mawali attitude with ease. While there were others who played straight-faced characters, Sayed Mamoon’s character in the show Doli Armaanon Ki, caught on with everybody as it was truly comical. Playing the character of a man who is possessed, Sayeed’s dialogues were funny and called for some hilarious facial contortions and body language on his part. Okasana was seen in a fun street sequence playing a foreigner in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke while Akshay Nalawade played the role of a yodha in Zee TV’s historical Jodha Akbar. Saurabh Bharadwaj played a boy-next-door in Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya and Vikram Chatterjee played a corrupt Police Inspector in Jamai Raja.

Much appreciated by the creative teams of the shows they had performed cameos on, these Top 8 contestants will be seen in an episode in each of the shows. With the show nearing its finale, we hope that the audiences shower them with votes and we hope the best wins.

Madhura Naik in Life OK's Comedy Classes

 

Earlier in the day we wrote about Srman Jain being a part of Life OK’s upcoming show Comedy Classes (Optimystix).

Now, we have learnt that sexy and sassy Madhura NaikM (Uttaran, Tumhari Paakhi) is also a part of the series.

Madhura will be seen as a South Indian student, and her mannerisms will be similar to that of Deepika Padukone’s character from the movie Chennai Express.

We spoke to Madhura who said in confirmation: “Yes, I am pretty excited about the endeavour. I have never done comedy before and I am looking forward to an enriching experience.”

We wish her luck!!!

Now, Comedy Classes is touted to be one of the biggest projects on Life OK. It is also said that show was earlier pitched to Colors, but went to the rival channel owing to slot issues, however we cannot confirm on the development.

Other actors who are a part of the laugh riot are Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Berry, Bruna Abdullah, Bharti Singh and Pakistani superstar Shakeel.

Bharti will be seen as a dance teacher, Krushna will be an acting professor, Sudesh a music teacher, Bruna will be a sexy foreign student and Srman a gangster.

This fiction tale injected with comedy is expected to be a fun ride for viewers and will hit screens from 7 October.

Srman Jain to return to TV with Life OK's Comedy Classes

With Life OK coming up with a new humorous show Comedy Classes (Optimystix Productions) featuring Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Berry, Bruna Abdullah, Bharti Singh and Pakistani superstar Shakeel, a new name has been added to the talented ensemble to bring in few more laughs.

The actor we are talking about is Srman Jain, who was last seen in Adaalat. Srman recently also produced a Marathi film.

“I am super excited to do a comedy show. I have always wanted to work in this genre and since Optimystix has been like a family, I kept approaching them. Vipul (Producer Vipul Shah) kept on telling when the right time comes it will happen. And guess this was the right time. The audition and all fell in the right place and I am having a superb time shooting with this talented bunch of people,” he shared.

When asked if he is nervous about sharing the stage with ‘comedy veterans’, he said: “ “They are of course great comedians but there is no comparison as I am an actor and would react and perform differently. But I am sure it’s going to be a great team and an even greater show. Viewers would definitely enjoy it.”

The shooting for the show has already started and it will air from 7 October, as reported in the media.

Gautam Gulati wins Bigg Boss season 8

Congratulations!!!!

Our readers predicted Gautam Gulati to be the winner of Bigg Boss season 8, airing on Colors
And guess what? Their prediction has come true as indeed Gautam has gone on to win the season.

His bare torso, six packs, heroic style histrionics led him to great heights of popularity.

His initial ‘mirchi’ confrontation with Karishma Tanna made him stand out amongst the contestants.

His fan following outside the house grew in leaps and bounds with him having dedicated fan pages on social media platforms.

Top three contestants were Pritam Singh, Karishma Tanna and Gautam.

Karishma came close second while Pritam took the cash prize of Rs 25lakh and left the house.

Ali Quli Mirza and Dimpy Mahajan were the first ones to get evicted from the top five lot.

Sonali and Puneet eliminated from Bigg Boss 8

In tonight’s episode of Bigg Boss 8 (Endemol and Colors) on Colors, Sonali Raut and Puneet Issar have bid adieu to the show.

Earlier at Tellychakkar.com we reported about Arjun Rampal making an appearance on tonight’s episode for the promotion of his upcoming film Roy and during a task he took Sonali along with him out of the house.

Apart from the ‘slap incident’ with co-contestant Ali, Sonali did not manage to grab eyeballs of the audience like few other fellow inmates.

Furthermore, Salman also entered the house and took Puneet out of the house.

After the eviction of Sonali and Puneet, the other contestants who are left in the house are Karishma,
Pritam, Gautam, Ali and Dimpy. After tonight’s finale episode the five champions will be seen competing along with the five challengers in the Bigg Boss Halla Bol series, which will be hosted by Farah Khan.

The challengers’ team consist of Rahul Mahajan, Sambhavna Seth, Mahek Chahal, Ajaz Khan and Sana Kha

Time for 'Comedy Nights' on Bigg Boss 8

Gear up for some double dhamaka tomorrow (27 December) on Colors.

The two popular shows Comedy Nights with Kapil (K9/SOL) and Bigg Boss 8 (Endemol) will get together to give viewers a fun filled night.

As per media reports the inmates and the viewers will get to regale with the super-fun comedian
Kapil Sharma and his family joining them for the Weekend Ka Vaar episode this Saturday.

Well, as the world knows, the bhai of Bollywood Salman Khan celebrates his birthday on 27
December and to celebrate the day with his close family and friends, the star has been granted a leave from the makers of the reality show he hosts.

And with Salman not there, the episode will go for a twist with Kapil, Palak (Kiku Sharda), Dadi (Ali Asgar) and Gutthi (Sunil Grover) taking up the charge to keep the fun spirit going.

The report further suggests that the shoot for the eviction and nomination episodes have been pushed a day and will be shot over Sunday and Monday.

As for the double dhamaal, the Comedy Nights team will endeavor to entertain the viewers from 9-11 pm.

As readers would know Salman will soon be bidding goodbye to the show as his contract ends on 4
January, post which Farah Khan will take over as the host for the month long extended time period.

Praneet 'Shakuni' Bhat out of Bigg Boss 8

After weeks of wait, finally Praneet Bhat was declared the captain of the house and earned immunity for next week. But alas, all efforts will go in vain.  

Yes, the Shakuni of TV (Mahabharat) is the latest housemate to get evicted from Bigg Boss 8 (Endemol).

Praneet, who rose to fame with his stint as Shakuni of Mahabharat, was roped in to create some ‘saazish’ like his on screen avatar, but his lazy and laid back attitude made him win the title of the ‘kaamchor’ in the house.

Also the guy was a scapegoat with every contestant choosing him for ‘dand’ infuriating him further. And of course his hygiene issues made housemates raise more eyebrows. However Praneet found a strong foothold being in the P3G gang (Puneet Issar, Pritam, Praneet and Gautam Gulati).

But all will be history now as the guy will soon come back home to his family after staying in the house for 14 weeks.

With Praneet out, let’s see how the P3G gang would function now.

Kissing doesn't lead to pregnancy: Diandra Soares

Model Diandra Soares, the latest contestant to be evicted from “Bigg Boss 8”, has rubbished pregnancy rumours saying "Kissing doesn't lead to pregnancy".

The 35-year-old, who was considered to be one of the strongest contenders in the reality show, was voted out Sunday. The otherwise active Diandra was lying low last week because of poor health. In fact, she was taken to a hospital for a check-up.

It was reported that she was pregnant. When asked about the rumour, she categorically said: "I am not pregnant."

"Kissing doesn't lead to pregnancy. It's just a rumour that has been flying outside," Diandra, who was seen getting intimate with her co-contestant and actor Gautam Gulati in the Bigg Boss house, told reporters after coming out of the house.

"I was taken to hospital because I was unwell. Now my health is absolutely fine," she added.
Last week, all contestants were nominated following their failure to follow the rules of the house.
Diandra, whose stint with the show lasted 12 weeks, was seen as a vibrant and entertaining contestant. She was popular for her changing hairstyles and leadership quality.

During her stay, she shared a good camaraderie with the contestants.
When asked why was she evicted, she said: "Maybe I was no more a favourite of the audience. I got evicted like any other contestant. There's nothing new in my eviction."

"Bigg Boss", which airs on Colors, attracts audiences mainly for its controversies and acrimonious fights.

Hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, the show is now left with nine contestants and Diandra feels that Puneet Issar is the "mastermind inside the house".

Dimpy Mahajan is the new captain of Bigg Boss 8

Finally her dreams got fulfilled.

Dimpy Mahajan who made a wild card entry in the Bigg Boss 8 house has been pleading and demanding to be made the captain of the house. Although it had not been successful yet, today, the girl has finally managed to get the throne.

The Colors show produced by Endemol India introduced the task for the new captain last night. The task saw Bigg Boss presenting the housemates a throne wherein the contestants had to sit on. The one seated on it at the end of the task, would be declared the winner and the captain of the house.
Since Ali Quili Mirza won the advantage task, he was allowed to sit first on the chair. Now the precap did give viewers a look how Ali wouldn’t budge from the seat making the housemates furious.
Dimpy would then be seen trying to scare him with the infamous ‘chilli powder’ mixture.

And as the guy would stand on the chair to avoid it, Dimply would smartly sneak in and seat herself in the comfort.

Well the altercation that followed would be for viewers to see, but for now let us tell you that she
would manage to stay on the place and win the task.

Puneet Issar is unbelievably double-faced: Deepshikha Nagpal

Although Deepshikha Nagpal didn't expect to be evicted from the Bigg Boss 8 house so soon, she has come out with positive vibes about the experience. But she rues about the behaviour of her inmate Puneet Issar.

"I was in there for 20 days and I had a blast. It was like an ongoing party. And I made friends with everyone except the three backstabbers," said Deepshikha who was evicted Sunday.

The three contestants, whom she refers to as backstabbers, are the three Ps - Puneet Issar, Praneet Bhatt and Pritam Singh.

Deepshikha, who featured in TV shows like Son Pari and Hongey Judaa Naa Hum, is especially angry with Puneet.

"He is unbelievably double-faced. When we were part of the Secret Society locked away in a room, I looked after him like a mother. He got very sick as he is claustrophobic. He expressed a lot of gratitude for my care and concern. But then when he came into the Bigg Boss house, his behaviour changed. Initially, I thought he didn't know how to conduct himself with the other contestants. Now I realise what a game-player he is," said the actress who had earlier participated in dance reality show Nach Baliye.

She couldn't believe her eyes and ears when host Salman Khan showed her the footage of the contestants who nominated her for eviction. "Salman taught me jo dikhta hai woh hota nahin. People can be such fakes."

She is aware that the show is actually about playing games, but was still unprepared for the drama inside.

"I can tell you this much, though. I wasn't being a hypocrite. I was behaving the way I really am. Not like some others who would call others 'beti' and 'behen' and then stab them in the back. I am proud of the way I conducted myself and also very grateful to have got a chance to be inside the Bigg Boss house. For seven seasons, I had been watching the show in my home. I never expected to be in it with millions watching me," she said.

The actress says she made a lot of friends in there.

"I've told them that after the show is over we will all get together for a party at my farm house. In these 20 days inside Bigg Boss I've learnt so much about human nature. Plus, I got to be with Salman.
I also got to meet Rekhaji and Hrithik (Roshan) in the house. Aur kya chahiye? (What else does one want?)."
Her future plans?

"I've no idea what's in store for me. Till a day before I left for Bigg Boss I had no idea I'd be going in there. I was a last minute addition in the show. So you see, life is never about what you want it to be," she said.

1.Wannabe celebs aka contestants who possess no unique talent that could become their calling card in the show. Some of them are not even popular.

2.None of them have a controversial image and have hardly ever been embroiled in any spicy controversy.

3.Sargun Mehta drama episode was superbly boring and not needed.

4. Host Salman looked tired, bored and lacking in energy several times.

5.Too many celebs talking in broken Hindi. Too much English Vinglish in a desi show.

'Bang Bang' turned down 'Bigg Boss' offer?

TV shows are considered an important platform to promote a film before its release, thanks to its wider reach. However, it seems that the "Bang Bang" team reportedly doesn't agree with the theory and turned
down an invitation to promote the Hrithik Roshan-starrer on "Bigg Boss 8".
If sources are to be believed, Hrithik has decided to skip reality TV show platforms to market his film.

A source close to the industry said: 'Bigg Boss' team had approached the team of 'Bang Bang' to promote their film during the launch of 'Bigg Boss' show, but 'Bang Bang' team politely refused it.

"The 'Bang Bang' team has decided not to promote their film on any TV shows as they feel they can't recreate the scale of 'Bang Bang' on any reality show."

Directed by Siddarth Anand, "Bang Bang", also featuring Katrina Kaif, is slated for an Oct 2 release.

Another source said that Hrithik is following Aamir Khan's footsteps, as the latter didn't promote his "Dhoom 3" on any reality show.

"The highlight of 'Bang Bang' is action sequences and Hrithik's chemistry with Katrina. He is confident that it will draw the audience to the theatres,"
added the source.

To be hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, the eighth season of "Bigg Boss" will go live Sep 21 on Colors channel.

When contacted the channel, they refused to comment on it.

Bigg Boss 8 to fly to Bangkok?

Bigg Boss season 8 on Colors is all set to air from this Sunday, dated 21 September.

Now, we all know that the theme for this season is aviation and host Salman Khan in a pilot dress has already become the wet fantasy of women across the globe.

There have been speculations of the show being filmed in an international location this year, a buzz which has been repeatedly denied by the people associated with the project.

But one of our credible inside sources stated that the channel creatives and folks at Endemol (production house for the show) have indeed kept the option open of taking the contestants out of India.

Hear more from the source: “There are talks of flying down to Bangkok mid season to pep up TRPs. Most probably an isolated beach would be booked as a location. Everyone who is associated with the show has been asked to keep passports ready, even the contestants. Only glitch would be Salman’s court case which doesn’t allow him to fly abroad. Hopefully that would get sorted as well.”

Aahhh…Bigg Boss in bang bang Bangkok. Nice!!!
