The day has finally arrived to witness the magic of Sunil Grover onscreen.

Sunil, who has been surrounded by controversy post his fall out with Kapil Sharma has finally managed to find his ground. The tussle of signing the talented actor was going strong among all GECs and seems like Colors has managed to grab him.

Sources close to Sunil shared with us that the actor was given a lucrative offer by Colors. Apart from big money, the channel will launch their star product ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ with Sunil now.
The show has been rechristened ‘Comedy Nights with Sunil’.

Wowww!! Great news, isn’t it??? Shared a source, “Colors will launch the new series with Sunil Grover and it is said to be a bigger and better version of the same. The channel is leaving no stones unturned to make this show a bigger hit from its past project.”

Sunil is yet to sign the contract but will start shoot soon. As of now, he has just signed a sheet that states ‘April Fool Banaya, Tumko Gussa Aaya’.

Wadali Brothers to appear on 'The Kapil Sharma Show'

Sufi musicians Wadali Brothers -- Puranchand Wadali and Piyarelal Wadali -- will soon be seen on the popular comedy show "The Kapil Sharma Show".

The Wadali Brothers and Punjabi musician Lakhwinder Wadali on Wednesday shot an episode for the Sony Entertainment Television show here, read a statement.

The episode, featuring the famed duo who have lent their voices to films like "Pinjar" and "Dhoop" and "Tanu Weds Manu", will be aired on Sunday.

They seemed to have enjoyed their time on the set of the show, in which they will be seen getting entertained by the show's characters including Mashoor Gulati, essayed by Sunil Grover.

Wow!! Sarabhai team is back!

We just can’t stop looking at the new pictures of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai team.

Though it’s been few years that the show has ended but it still feels like yesterday.

Most of the people would agree with us that Sarabhai vs Sarabhai will always be one of the best shows on TV.

The show’s USP was its characterization and rib-tickling script. No one can forget Monisha (Rupali Ganguly) and Maya’s (Ratna Pathak Shah) cute fights, Rosesh’s (Rajesh Kumar) funny poems, the dotting husband Saahil (Sumeet Raghavan) and the very fun loving Indravadan (Satish Shah).

When we contacted JD Majethia, he shared, “It was so good to meet the team after so long. We couldn’t hold our excitement. We had lots of fun and chatted till the wee hours in the morning.”

The makers of Colors' show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki is all set to entertain the audiences with the new twists!

Balaji Telefilms show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki has taken its third leap and this time it is a Seven-year-long leap. The leap has introduced a few new characters alongwith the entry of two child actors who will be portraying important roles.

According to the source, “Post the leap, 'Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki' will introduce actor Aansh Arora as
Samar who will play the childhood friend of Amit Tandon (Kratika’s new romantic interest).”

Arora has won the hearts of millions through his powerful acing in his portrayal of Kevin Cooper in the &TV show Queens. He is also popular for his role as Vishal in the hotstar web series Tanhaiyan and for his Short Films.

Colors’ popular drama Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki produced by Balaji Telefilms, is set to welcome a new actor.

The handsome and good looking Abhilash Kumar, who was last seen in Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant has been roped in for the daily.

Abhilash, earlier see in Laut Aao Trisha and Ghayaal 2, will play Rohit, who will be a positive, and happy go lucky kind of a person.

As per sources, Abhilash will be paired opposite Smiley (Chandni Sandhu) and a love track will soon open in the coming episodes.

When we contacted Abhilash, he shared, “After Laut Aao Trisha, this is my comeback on daily shows. I am playing the character of Rohit, who is a very humble, polite and generous person. Hope viewers enjoy watching my performance in the show.”

The actor has begun shooting and his entry will be air soon.

There have been a lot of trouble in the lives of Rishi (Ssharad Malhotra) and Tanuja (Kratika Sengar) in the ongoing episodes of the popular daily Kasam Tere Pyar Ki (Balaji Telefilms).

As per the recent episodes, Tanuja was in the ICU after she was attacked by the goon, who was hired by Purab (Puneet Sachdeva) and Malaika (Smriti Khanna). Rishi was taking care of her while she was admitted in the hospital and protecting her against all the evils.

Now, we hear that a moment of happiness is to be witnessed soon in the upcoming episode.

Our source informs us, “In the upcoming tracks of the popular daily, Tanuja will get discharged from the hospital and will be back home.”

“But her arrival won’t be a happy thing for many in the house. Netra (Praneeta Sahu), Ranu (Vibha Chibber) and Divya (Chetna Kaintura) would be unhappy to see her back in the house and Ranu will even faint after seeing Tanuja back,” added the source.

Ashoka's Sumedh to play Krishna on TV

Finally, we have some development on Zee TV’s most awaited mytho drama Radha Krishna.

Initially, the show was supposed to be produced under Dheeraj Kumar’s Creative Eye productions. But as we reported earlier, due to some issues the project is now being taken care by Swastik Pictures.

We had also reported about the cast, that is, Preetika Rao as Radha, Tunisha Sharma as young Radha, Avinesh Rekhi as Kans and a newbie as a Krishna.

However, with the change of production house, the cast will now get altered.

As per reports, Sumedh Mudgalkar, famously known as Sushim from Colors’ Ashoka, has been roped in to play the young Krishna in the drama.

The reports further states that Sumedh will be paired opposite newbie Mallika Singh aka the young Radha.

When we contacted Sumedh, he shared, “Nothing is confirmed yet as talks are on at an initial stage.”

Sandeep Anand, who keeps undergoing makeovers for his look in popular TV show “May I come in Madam?”, will next be seen in a bald avatar. The actor's new look has been designed by Jitendra Mhatre, who worked on National Award winning actress Priyanka Chopra's bald look in the 2014 film “Mary Kom”.

“To get into the bald get-up for 12 hours is a pain for any actor. It took almost three hours to get into the look. One has to remove the bald wig in a few hours or else it can lead to serious problems, but as an actor we don’t follow such restrictions,” Sandeep, who plays Sajan in the show, said in a statement.

“I got a few scratches near my neck but the outcome of this episode is hilarious. So, no regrets or pain. I am happy that I took up this challenge and did it," he added.

“May I come in Madam?”, aired on Life OK, also features Neha Pendse and Sapna Sikarwar.

Do you have your eyes wide open, reading our exclusive updates for the day? Well, if you have, then you would already be aware of acclaimed Producer Siddharth Malhotra moving out of the Cinevistaas Limited banner, to work on his newly formed production house, Alchemy Productions.

We have also reported about Siddharth working on a new show for Star Plus.

Now, here is the biggie!!       

Siddharth Malhotra has roped in his Dill Mill Gayye star, Karan Wahi to play the male lead on the show. Giving him company as the female lead will be Beintehaa fame Preetika Rao. While Preetika Rao was supposed to be part of Radha Krishn on Zee TV, Wahi is seen in & TV’s Kahani Humari... Dil Dosti Deewanepan Ki.

Also making her daily show debut will be Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba. The talented actress’ noted work on the big screen includes movies Yahaan, Zilla Ghaziabad, Bheja Fry 2, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd, Corporate. She has earlier featured in Bigg Boss on Colors. Minissha will be the other female lead on the show, is what we hear.

A credible source tells us, “Karan Wahi, Preetika and Minissha are presently shooting for the pilot of the show in Jodhpur. The show will then go through its research process and later will head to the approval stage. In simple words, the show is still at a nascent stage, and there is nothing much to confirm at the moment.”

When contacted, Wahi confirmed his part in the pilot, and indicated to it being a very nascent stage.

Colors Bangla's ‘E Amar Gurudakshina’

Tapas Pal roped in for Colors Bangla's new soap ‘E Amar Gurudakshina’

Veteran Tollywood actor Tapas Pal has been roped in to play a key role in Colors Bangla's upcoming musical love story ‘E Amar Gurudakshina’, based on the Bengali film Guru Dakshina.

He was also a part of the film and it’s a role reversal time for him.

The film saw the senior actor enact the role of Jayanta (the protagonist) and the soap will see him in the role of Mastermoshai (played by Kali Banerjee in the film).

At a recent set visit of the serial, director duo Anol Chakraborty and Suman Ray said that Tapas is quite excited about the same.

They shared, “When we approached him for the project he sounded happy and excited. He said Cholo jomiye kaaj ta korte hobe.” 

When quizzed if they have brought any changes to the plot, they quipped, “The story will remain the same. 

Unlike a film, a serial runs for months/years so we have stretched the love story of the male and female lead.”

“Since it is a musical love story, many young singers will get an opportunity to sing,” they added. 

It will see Biswarup Bandyopadhyay, who earlier acted in Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, and newbie Debattama Saha in the lead roles of male and female respectively.  

Apart from them, ace actors like Dipankar De, Chumki Chowdhury and Debdutt Ghosh are playing key roles here.

Actor Shashi Kiran last seen in Bhagonwaali and Sanjog Se Bani Sangini will make a return to TV with Zee TV's Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma, produced by Farhn P Zamma’s Salt Media LLP.

He will essay the role of the cruel and brutal uncle (mama) of Zeenat (Urvashi Sharma). The guy will bring her up from childhood and then when she will come of age, he will try to sell her for money.

When contacted Shashi Kiran told us "Yes I am doing the show. I play the antagonistic mama of Zeenat. It will be a very important cameo role."

Revolving around the life of Saumya, the show has successfully managed to bring to the fore a strong social message. Recently, the cast of upcoming movie Bhoomi visited the set of Shakti… Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii to shoot for a special episode. Well, we have already reported about Suman (Nikita Dutta) facing tough time because of Shravan (Namik Paul). But, it seems that happy time is still away from Suman’s life.

Soon, Suman will face a new challenge, where Shravan will dare her to run her catering service all alone.

As per a reliable source, “Shravan will realize that the land for which he was fighting was Suman’s catering service land. Hence, he would go to Suman and would give her the papers of the land. Suman would reject to take it as she an independent woman and she would think it is against her self-respect.”

We hear from a source that the cute couple Shaan (Karan V Grover) and Rajni (Ridhima Pandit) are soon going to part ways in Life OK’s sci-fi comedy Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant (Sonali & Amir Jaffer).

Our source shares, “While the duo will go for their honeymoon, Mathew (Suhaas Ahuja) will reach the place and ask Shaan to surrender his robot to him. A disheartened Shaan will realize that he is emotionally attached to Rajni and can’t let her go. Shaan on one hand will be reluctant on giving away Rajni, the lady herself will convince Shaan to do so and keep his promise. After much confrontation and argument, Shaan will finally let .”

Saddened with the development, Shaan will return his home along with his other family members. He will also meet his former girlfriend, Samaira (Shiny Doshi) there.

Colors’ popular daily Thapki Pyaar Ki (Shoonya Square and SOL) is set to bring forth an exciting twist in tale.

Too much of drama has been witnessed in the recent episodes of the popular daily when Hunar Hale entered the show as Lovely where she was pretending to be Thapki (Jigyasa Singh) in the ongoing episodes.

Jigyasa, who was down with Swine Flu has now recovered and we hear that she is all set to be back in the show to bring forth more twist in tale.


Our source informs us, “Thapki will challenge Lovely to expose her plan in front of the family but
Lovely will show a video of Bani (Jigyasa Singh) whom she has kidnapped and threaten Thapki to kill her if she will speak out the truth in front of the family.”

Now Thapki is left with two choices either to save her daughter or to expose Lovely in front of the family. What will she do now?

Colors’ drama Thapki Pyar Ki (SOL & Shoonya Square) is all set to churn out the same track in coming days.

After much persuasion Thapki (Jigyasa Singh) has finally confessed her love for Bihaan (Manish Goplani), but now it seems that Bihaan is on a guilt trip these days.

If you all are wondering what has happened, then here we are to provide you with the details.

As per our sources, “After learning about the fact that Vasundhara (Jaya Bhattacharya) is indeed responsible for Dhurv (Ankit Bathla) and Thapki’s separation, Dhruv will break down. On one hand, he will distant himself from his mother, on the other hand, Bihaan will start feeling guilty for being responsible for his brother’s heart break. Dhruv will ask Thapki to return in his life, while Thapki will be adamant about not doing so. Moreover, she will ask Dhruv to forgive his mother for all her past deeds.”

If the drama, is not enough for the viewers then the makers have something more in their store. Shraddha (Monica Khanna), who has been pretending to be a good bahu all the while, will now embarrass Vasundhara. In front of her guests, Shraddha will introduce Vasu as her made and will ask her to do all the household chores.

And guess what dear readers? A strong headed woman like Vasu will even agree to

Aabasaheb to break Aradhya-Aryan's marriage in Colors' Krishndasi

Wise men often said that one’s ego is the worst enemy. And perhaps that has proved to be true in case of Aabasaheb (Uday Tikekar) from Colors’ daily Krishndasi (Padmini Kutty & Optimystix).

The man, recently, got to know about Aradhya (Sana Amin Sheikh) being his granddaughter, while Aryan (Shravan Reddy) in reality is Kumudini’s (Indira Krishnan) grandchild.

Now, after such a disturbing revelation, the man will get mocked.

Our source shares, “In coming days, everyone will mock Abhasaheb for shunning Krishndasi clan, while his own granddaughter has turned out to be one of the clan. The onlookers at the market will tease Aabasaheb by stating that he will now make Aradhya dance at all the rituals. Infuriated with such comments he will ask Pavitra (Shweta Mahadik) to convince Aradhya to divorce Aryan.”

On the other hand, Aryan and Aradhya will decide to pay blind ear to her grandfather’s appeal and will continue to be with Aryan.

Learn about the new twist in Colors' Krishndasi

The social drama on Colors’ Krishndasi (Optimystix & Padmini Kutty) has now turned into a spooky series, with Aradhya (Sana Amin Sheikh) being possessed by Aryan’s (Shravan Reddy) grandmother’s ghost.

Viewers are already aware that in reality Aradhya is being hypnotized by Purva’s (Priyanka Purohit) associate, which we find a bit more logical than other horror shows on small screen.

Now, keeping our thought process aside, let us share the upcoming track with our viewers.

In the coming days, it will be shown that Aradhya will invite Aryan’s sister home, which will irk Purva. Agitated with Aradhya’s action, Purva will try to kill her.

“Aradhya will fall from the window, but Aryan will come on time to save her. Purva will lie to all stating that Aradhya got possessed by the soul once again and she indeed tried to stop Aradhya. Later on, it will be shown that Purva actually wants to get hold of Aryan’s property instead of the man himself and thus, she will try to separate Aryan and Aradhya”, adds our source.

But Aradhya will face problem once again, as while falling, glass pieces would have pierced her stomach, leading in major blood loss.

And this will open up the next drama wherein Tulsi (Jaya Binjoo) will be asked to give her daughter blood.

Kawach Review: Maheck sizzles; horror fizzles

Television Czarina Ekta Kapoor’s newest offering Kawach (Balaji Telefilms) on Colors created much buzz in the media since the time of its announcement.

Starring biggies like Mona Singh, Maheck Chahal, Vivek Dahiya, Ashwini Kalsekar and many others, Kawach promises to explore the world of supernatural in a never seen before manner.
With the hope of witnessing something unexplored and uncanny, as we kept an eye on the opening weekend of the biweekly drama, the show seemed to deliver an eerie plot indeed.

Contrary to other show makers, Ekta, nowadays, is focusing on strong women protagonists, who have their own career apart from possessing the skills of home making. Continuing with the trend, once again she presented Paridhi aka Mona Singh, who is an archaeologist by profession. Without much doubt, Mona did a decent job on her part. So, did Vivek Dahiya aka Rajbir Bundela as Mona’s fiancé. The one who came as a surprise package was Mahek Chahhal, who did absolute justice to her role as Manjulika, the evil aatma.
Not to forget she looked amazing sexy and scary in her new look.

For the rest of the cast, seemed to have tried pretty hard to enact their Rajasthani characters. Unfortunately they couldn’t succeed much with their Punbabi accented Rajasthani making up for most of the dialogues. Seems like the makers cannot have enough of the Punjabi happy family.

Coming to the concept, it mostly disappointed us as the show has nothing new to offer for the loyal viewers of Balaji Telefilms, who have already enjoyed its shows like Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat and Mano Ya Na Mano.

Word of appreciation for the cinematography and visual effects team, who did a commendable job as they successfully created the spooky environment all along through the two episodes. It will rather be unfair to not mention the music team. Like every Balaji show, the background score perfectly complements every scene on screen.

Apart from the production team’s hard work what else can a viewer look forward in this show? Well Mona and Vivek’s fresh pairing is surely something to watch out for. And till now, we have only heard the voice over of Ashiwini Kalsekar. Knowing her potential as a stunning performer, we are looking forward to her entry for sure. And how can we forget Maheck, who is all set to give us sleepless nights hereon.

After witnessing history with Naagin, we are confident the makers will add the right elements to give another successful series to viewers. With horror being presented in a novel way, we are expectant of some more dhamakedar twists and turns and of course all the ‘raaz’ being solved!

On the whole, Kawach can be an entertaining watch on lazy weekend evenings with a cup of hot tea and some snacks...perfect for the coming monsoon time..Boo!!!

Shona to challenge Sattu’s lover in Zee TV’s Meri Saasu Maa

It’s indeed a ‘tricky’ situation for Sattu (Pearl V. Puri) and Pari (Hiba Nawab) in Zee TV’s Meri Saasu Maa (Mumtaz Saba Productions).              

Yes, the confusion has been created by Shona (Tisha Kapoor) who will confess her love for Sattu, that too in front of Pari (already reported by us).

In order to safeguard his relationship status, Sattu will lie to Shona that he cannot accept her love, as he is already in love with a girl.

Aww, so what next?

Viewers will see some entertaining drama ahead with Shona going all out to challenge the ‘unknown’ lover of Sattu, without knowing that Pari is Sattu’s wife.

As per sources, “In the coming episodes, Shona will feel upset over the fact that Sattu is in love with a girl. She will constantly seek her dear friend and sister Pari’s help to find ideas to prove her love for Sattu. And Pari who would be stuck, will try her best to help Shona.”

Well, the biggest ‘confusing’ twist will come when Shona will openly challenge Sattu that she is so much in love with him, that even his girl friend will fall short before her.

To make it worse for Sattu, Shona will ask Sattu to allow her to prove that she is the best. Accordingly, Shona will demand Sattu to have a competition wherein she will fight it out against Sattu’s lover to get his love....

As we know, Tisha’s entry has happened, and she plays a hot-tempered girl by name Shona in the college where Sattu (Pearl V. Puri) and Pari (Hiba Nawab) go to.

Shona comes with a baggage of problems related to her past with her parents. Being a girl who has never seen love, Shona will get impressed by her teacher Pari. Within no time, Pari and Shona will become very good friends.

Rannvijay saves contestant from drowning on MTV Roadies X4

Rannvijay Singha proved why he is the ultimate roadie by exhibiting the true spirit which the audience will witness in the upcoming episode of MTV Roadies X4. Rannvijay jumped to the rescue of a contestant and saved her life. Literally!

As the show enters its pre-finale phase, a task alongside a bolting river will see tensions rise high as one of the contestants Karishma will experience a near death experience. During her task, Karishma will be seen fighting for her life as she gets swept under water but Rannvijay will be seen coming to her rescue.

Reliving the hair raising incident, a source on the sets said, “It was a dangerous task which required Karishma to cross the gorging river. During her attempt, her float capsized and she fell in the raging waters. Before we could realize she was drowning. It was a scary situation and someone needed to act soon.

Without sparing a second Rannvijay jumped into the cold water and pulled her out. But the current was so strong; it became difficult for him to maintain his balance too. After a few minutes, he managed to pull her out to safety. It was a close call but Rannvijay just showed the contestants what it takes to be a real Roadie.”

Now, that’s what a true Roadie spirit is all about!

Dedication and hard work makes one excel in life.
And perhaps that is the life mantra of the veteran actor Manish Wadhwa.
Currently shooting for Life OK's mytho fiction Nagarjun (Beyond Dreams), the man recently hurt himself while filming for an action sequence. For a particular scene, Manish needed to hang himself with a harness, but things went wrong when he ended up in a minor accident, where he has hurt his hands.


When we buzzed Manish for the same, he replied, "Yes, it's a minor accident and nothing major. When you start getting prepared for some action role, you are aware that such injuries are bound to happen. I am absolutely fine now."


Good job Manish. We hope you recover soon. 

 Vasuki to confront Astika in Life OK's Nagarjun

Life OK’s fantasy drama Nagarjun (Beyond Dreams) has already impressed the masses with its intriguing storyline, only after a week of successful run.

Now, the show will churn out some more interesting tracks and high octane action sequence we hear.
Viewers would be aware that Astika (Nikitin Dheer) has already poisoned the entire city of Amroli in order to trick Vasuki (Manish Wadhwa).

A source shares, “Now, after learning about the fact that Arjun (Anshuman Malhotra) is unharmed even after consuming the poison, Astika will believe that Arjun is indeed Vasuki in disguise. While Astika’s army will attack Arjun, the young lad will be able to tackle the army with his power. On the other hand, the battle between Vasuki and Astika will ensure with both fighting to secure their interest.”

When we buzzed Manish, the veteran actor commented, “We have already shot for the sequence. It was amazing to work with Niki and both of us have really enjoyed it.”

The show lead Anisha (Mugdha Chaphekar) will observe karwa chauth fast in the show.

As per the upcoming track, she will fast for Sunny (Vipul Roy). Vinod (Dhruv Singh) would come with breakfast for Anisha and Sunny. Sunny would tell Vinod that she has kept fast to get a good husband in future. Hence, Vinod would think that it’s a good time to offer water to Anisha and break her fast at night.

On the other hand, her boyfriend will decide to tie the knot with a girl of his mother’s choice after romancing her for a decade. In his explanation, he would say that his aunt would be offended and may disown him!
