Namma Lacchi soap opera to premiere on February 6, A new soap opera Namma Lacchi, which has Vijay Suriya and Neha Gowda, in lead roles, set to premiere from February 6, at 8pm on a leading general entertainment channel. The serial also marks a return of Vijay Suriya to the small screen after a short lull. He plays the role of a singer in the serial who is from a small village reaches great height in the musical field. The serial which is the remake of the Bengali serial Potol Kumar Gaanwala. The makers have brought changes in the script as per the nativity.- Vijay plays the role of Sangam Sathanur. There is also a love story and father and daughter relationship which will take audiences on an emotional journey. The promo and poster of the show has got good response. Neha Gowda who is back after Bigg Boss is equally ecstatic about the project. She is playing the role of a mother who has a daughter who loves to sing. Neha will be seen in a de-glam role who lives in a village. The actress who is currently on holiday mood with family has been sharing vacation pictures from Pattaya.

Actor Vijay Suriya is juggling the demands of television and films with aplomb. Last seen in TV serial Jothe Jotheyalli, the Kannada actor has now signed a new soap opera Lacchi, teaming up with Neha Gowda. The serial will go on air soon. Singing away- Elated about the role that portrays him as a singer for the first time in his career, Vijay says, “It’s Sangam Sathanur’s life story – he comes to a city from a small town and strikes it big in the music industry. His personal struggles form the crux of the story, with a love story and a father-and-daughter relationship adding emotional context. I will be sporting short hair for the serial.”
- A break to gain perspective, Choosing to take a break from television for a short period, Vijay avers that it helped add focus and perspective. “We tend to go off track working continuously. A break helped freshen up and put more energy and thinking into my work,” he states.

Veeraputra and a yet-untitled film portraying him as a cop on the anvil,
he adds, “Working in television and films is about time management. I
am pinning my hopes on these two films that will hit the screens in
2023, both portray me in different roles.”

“Post-COVID, I have stopped planning professionally. I just want to work

During a Question and Answer session with her followers on Instagram, Neha Gowda responded to one of the questions regarding her upcoming television project and revealed that she just can't wait to begin shooting for the same. 
Revealing the soon-to-be-launched daily soap title as 'Lacchi', Neha Gowda in her Instagram post added "I play a very different role which I have never done before. Very excited to play this role because it's different from what you've seen before and also it's a very challenging character. . And, I am also very very very excited to share the screen space with Vijay Suriya and Chandu Gowda again." Besides her television comeback, Neha also responded to a few other questions related to her career and personal life.- On the other
hand, fans of Neha Gowda indeed have a reason to rejoice about the
comeback of their favourite actress. The actress got evicted from the
reality show after a good thirty-five days stint inside the glasshouse.
She was one of the initial contestants to get evicted from Bigg Boss
Kannada season 9.

Bigg Boss journey, Neha in an earlier interview ETimes TV mentioned, "I
like the fact that this season introduced the concept of welcoming the
former contestants to participate in the reality show along with the
newbies. I was very excited and looking forward to it. Entering the Bigg
Boss house as a newbie was like a clean slate. You have no game plan or
any sort of calculations regarding the same. It's just a new experience
altogether. I was just being myself. I can never wear a mask to portray
what I am not in reality. I have lived every second of my Bigg Boss
journey by staying true to myself."
